yt-dlp is a dedicated ripping tool, however, it doesn't try to break DRM. They let it exist out in the open because it doesn't touch DRM.

When it's discovered it stops working. Rippers have custom reverse engineered tooling and keep it secret.

Legal or not legal isn't determined by the licence key anyway. You can buy it for real, then crack it and you still have a legal copy.

Just use real-debrid. It acts as a cache for you for $3/month. Leech off someone you pay to leech off.

If you didn't buy something today, you're stole potential revenue. Louis Vuitton needs that money to survive!

If you don't drink a verification can, are you depriving Mountain Dew of their legal right to make you drink verification cans? If you don't enroll in the IOF, are you depriving Israel of its legal right to murder thousands of darker skinned people? Maybe some legal rights are so stupid they shouldn't exist?

When you steal cable, you don't deprive the cable company of anything.

Property rights aren't even fair. Big guys assert them, and little guys have them taken away. A good comment: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/5648831

Stremio doesn't seed after you download. It downloads, puts on the screen, and throws away.

I think triggered snowflake fascists are the only people who still use those rating sites. Then, they the user ratings (which they rigged) don't match the staff ratings.
