I’ll never lose sleep over it and don’t care for the whales but I do directly donate $15 a month, sometimes individually but often times to 2 or 3 individuals. The only service I pay for otherwise is realdebrid. I started donating as I got to a comfortable place in life and am happy to contribute that subscription plus my $15 a month donation to the project, creator, artist w/e. I pick based on the content our household is consuming or projects I want to support.
At the end of the day I don’t think anyone needs to justify anything. Even if pirating is considered to be immoral, which I’m not arguing, it would still be the least immoral practice in the process compared to all the shit that takes place with large commercially developed content.
If things ever got stupid I’d just play crossword and do puzzles, I’m not so attached to electronic media that I’d pay over $50 a month for the entertainment.

I don’t know. I’m not overweight but I am almost always hungry and it does suck. I could easily see myself deciding F it. I have degenerative back disease that motivates me to keep my weight down. Anyway, attributing it entirely to willpower is naive, a lot of folks are just dealing with life and weight isn’t as big of a priority to them as maybe their doctor or presumably yourself would like it to be. If I didn’t get back pain I could easily see myself not worrying about it. Stop acting like you know everyone’s life or that everyone who has different priorities than you are somehow week, you come across like a giant know it all piece of shit.
I have a golf cart I use for most of my short drives. I’ve been thinking about putting solar on the roof and figuring out how to do all these calculations so I can decide if it would be worth it based on my use case. I like to keep it in my garage out of the weather when I’m not using it unfortunately. Feel like it will last me forever if I take care of it like that instead of leaving it outside and in not sure if Solar would be worth it for while I’m driving or out at the store or visiting someone.

I want to see a service with ads that has a subscription and at the end of every month they distribute all ad revenue to the subscribers.
I’ve only ever gotten one video to play on it. It’s fine, I googled the title and was able to find the video. The guy doing that tear down is awesome btw! I can’t deny I winced a few times while watching it.
