How do younpay for these services? I'd imagine you might not want to use your credit cards.

If you use a VPN, change your country and see if that affects the content you're offered. I'm in Manchester according to my VPN, and Netflix is offering me tons of British sitcoms and dramas, shows not available in my home country.

A Battery Daddy, which stores batteries in a clear case and has its own battery tester inside. It'll probably end up being less goofy and more useful.

Trader Joe's smoked sardines in olive oil is delicious.

Do you have a link for Stealth? Libreddit was working for me up until two days ago.

Sorry to derail but what do people think of air gap or air tube wired headphones? Do you think they are necessary?

The fashion business seems to thrive on either body positivity or body negativity, but not body neutrality. If you feel neutral.about you body, I guess that doesn't prompt you to spend a ton of money on products to celebrate or disguise it.

In this case, the magazine created fake journalists with fake bios and used them.in the bylines. I would think that's a kind of fraud and definitely hurts the magazine's trustworthiness. The article goes into other publications that have also used fake journalists with their bylines in AI produced articles. I think if they were more transparent- say, labeling an article "AI created content" - it wouldn't be as much of an issue.

This also doesn't address errors in the AI produced articles (which could be solved by having a real life fair checker or editor).

Sports Illustrated was publishing articles under seemingly fake bylines. We asked their owner about it — and they deleted everything.

Neither. They get in the way when I put on my backpack.

Hmm. Is this supposed to be affecting everyone using Firefox with adblockers? I just played a video on FF with uBO. Worked fine for me with no delays. Maybe because I searched for the video using DDG and watched it via DDG (meaning I did not click through and watch it on YT)?

You were extremely lucky with that interest. Congrats! What are you both planning/doing for retirement now? Are you going to try to max your contributions to make up for cashing out?

I do the same with YT Music and tolerate the ads. Then, when they hit on a few songs I'm enjoying, I go to Newpipe and play playlistss or extended version of the songs/artists. I also build my own playlists in Newpipe.

If I discover a song I like IRL (say, on the radio or in the background of a video), I add it to both YT Music and Newpipe (e.g., I'm listening to Chaleya from the movie Jawan on Newpipe right now, discovered when I was out and about).

ETA: Newpipe also offers auto-enqueing, which might lead to more discovery.
