i rebind caps lock to control on all my machines.

it's much easier to hit comfortably in that location making it a better meta key, usually stupidly big on most keyboards making it even better, and i literally never need caps lock, ever.

I was the safety contact for my office in a high rise and had to prepare for drills and thus is what we were taught.

During the final sweep of the offices we were especially looking for anyone with any mobility or other issues and escorting them to the stairwell.

i'm doing school on a samsung tablet and a lot of stuff just works nicer with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse in dex especially web based tests.

So i tend to read and do forum posts with it as a tablet and then for online classes and tests i pull out the keyboard and mouse.

yo the Shenandoah Valley is absolutely beautiful. A pleasure to drive through. The caverns you can go into are absolutely worth a visit!

Luray Caverns is so worth the price the formations inside are just amazing

Skyline Caverns is just as good. My favorite thing about the caverns is the cool stillness of the air underground.

As a sailboat enthusiast kedging is most often used as in the case of poor Blackbeard when you get caught up on something and need to move a small bit in a direction that's against the wind or water. So usually just trying to get unstuck when you've run afoul of hidden sand bars or the tide shift leaves you in an awkward spot. You also might do it to help set an extra anchor if you're worried about drifting on the tides.

Even deep water boats only have a few hundred feet of anchor rode and line and it takes a while and is a hassle to kedge out with your dinghy.

I have never in all my years of boating seen anyone do it as a method of general propulsion outside of just handling lines at the dock. It's just sometimes your best shot.

you're definitely going to want to get on the Sailing Anarchy forums

i did the basic free course at nauticed.com and got a boating license for my state and that was enough to buy and sail a racing dinghy 8 hours up a river my first time out. Sailing is a blast you're gonna love it! You can get a dinghy on craigslist for less than the cost of lessons so if you're into DIY it's a fun inexpensive way to go.
