Better for what? DDG probably better for privacy as Vivaldi doesn’t really makes any promises around protecting your privacy.

Yet I’m using Vivaldi and really enjoying it. Built in Mail, Calendar and RSS works great. Tabs nested inside tabs is also great. So if you are into that kind of bells and whistles, give it a shot.

I’m honestly curious if you think ‘a Zionist’ is the exact same thing with ‘a Jew’?

Turkey (Asia Minor) reporting, it’s 1 Gbps unlimited for $25.

Hardcore capitalism bangs you hardcore for even human-right level things. Health, education and infrastructure should be the State’s responsibility, subventions doesn’t cut it.

Google’s getting credits for Android being a platform without walls since 2008, but it was almost never possible to jump the fences for the layperson.

When I look back at the last 15 years, I feel nothing but we got conned by the biggest Advertising company disguised as a tech company, to trust they will hold their users in front of their profits, or keep any of their promises.

Comparatively, yes - that’s auditory masking for you. On a relatively quiet place like a home, these will sound like rats running wild in your pipes.

Oops, yes. I definitely would expect these to be much louder than your 6 GB 1998 model HDD wrangling under stress of copying files at 30 MB/s.

If you eyeballing these, please remind that these babies tend to be LOUD AS FUCK, so might not be suitable for home server use.

One thing no one will tell you HOW LOUD some HDDs could get under load. You may not want any of those disks around if you’re keeping your server around your living spaces.

Just check dB values in the spec sheets.

Soma.FM

Surprised to see it’s not mentioned here. 24 years old internet radio, still kicking, over 30 channels with hand-picked playlists, almost all of them suitable for concentration. They are sponsoring Def-Con for years. Owner has a great Fediverse presence.

Channels have very interesting concepts like Spy Jazz, Ambient over NASA’s mission broadcasts, Celtic Folk, Vaporwave, 80s Synthpop and my favorite SF 10-33 Ambient over San Francisco Police Radio live feed.

This game feels like the perfect candidate for streaming from XCloud/GeForce Now since all those data doesn’t really need to be transferred all the time. And the game’s design can tolerate a bit input latency.

Game Dev here. More specifically, audio director. Used to be tech sound designer and composer. I find it hard to explain even over here, among the geeks like me.
