I just watched some highlights with my kid during the weekend. It looks insane! I could never.

That and the "You'll feel some pressure" lie.

Yeah, no. I know how pressure feels and it is not that!

I am female therefore many medical procedures that should absolutely use some kind of anesthesia, do not because "it'll be over in a pinch" "it's mild discomfort" etc. IUD insertion is a big fear of mine.

Dental pain. Experienced it once and that was enough to give me lifetime nightmares. Absolute horror!

Oh fuck no! Dark water is a big fear of mine. I like swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling BUT those dark patches in the water make me truly feel paralyzed and electrified at the same time brbrbrbr. One time I went to the Yucatan penninsula to swim in a couple of cenotes and boy did it make my body shiver! Let alone the meaning of cenotes in mayan cosmogony and what not but the pure sheer terror that that black water gave me was like nothing else.

Compression leggings for my ashtanga practice. I have had them for years and the texture, grip and colors are still great.

I like how they don't roll down at the waist and how their length is a tad above the heel of my foot while still covering the ankles.

They have a Wide range of sizes and designs. luleåmindulf is the brand.

In this same category is Cathedral of the sea by Ildefonso Falcones. It is a great book and one of my favorites! Not a one day read for sure.

Hello fellow non life goal setter! Having that life goal mentality fucked me up for years, went to therapy and learned to live in the present while trying not to obsess about the future. So now little things are what keeps me going: Getting to yoga class, fixing a nice plate of food if I feel like it, petting my dogs, crocheting so I feel thr burden of the stuff that has to get done a little less.

You are in for a treat when the chance comes up. My mom would serve chilaquiles with a side of refried beans, cecina with mexican cream on top, cotija cheese and avocado slices or guacamole.

Are you an eggs or cecina on the side kind of guy?
