If my parents needed it, I would help them. But I don't understand why you're asking this here this way as though there is one situation or attitude in a country of hundreds of millions of citizens. Like everyone else, we'd hope our parents can cover their own costs, but most of us would help if they can't.

There are other comments here which might have some relevance but imo this one is the most likely the most applicable. I've had this experience with other filesystems over and over and it seems like it's almost always a problem. Apparently NTFS supports permissions in a similar way to Linux if you set it up exactly right, but I've never taken the time to try that.

I saw you make that claim and doubted it but when I gave you the benefit of doubt and read the entire thread, I found one person claiming to be this and two autistic people. I've never ever heard this word used for them unless in an extremely derogatory manner. No doctor would've ever said that except before autism was a term and they only did it then out of confusion.
