People have to want things to get better. If people vote blue in November then we will have an opportunity to make things better. If the fascists take power, they will kills millions of people.

I did a reverse image search on google. It kind of looks like a photoshopped version of this logo.

edit: specifically this version

I wouldn't feel safe sleeping in a room with a random internet stranger my mom met over the internet. In fact, I wouldn't really feel safe sleeping in the same room as people I've met while playing internet games and I've met some cool people. People can easily fake an internet persona over long periods of time. I don't feel like this is empathy problem on your part. Trust takes time to build and it's not something that can really be done over the internet if your entire history with the person is based purely on online interactions.

My friends' band in high school was called Dances with Bread. I was their biggest fan, so I wanted a username that was bread themed. But I also felt like a username that had a sci-fi feel to it. ToastedPlanet was available on Reddit and it was available on Blåhaj Lemmy. But I managed to mistype it on DeviantArt as ToastePlanet which is embarrassing to say the least.

Do people not enjoy ripping the paper off of plastic water bottles? This looks like the same kind of fun to me.

Thanks for the reminder. I've switched to Firefox on my mac and iphone for personal use. I just need to move some web development stuff around so I can switch to Firefox on that too. I may even uninstall google chrome, but for now I've just taken it off the task bar.

Not only that, but the debate completely distracts from the way AI has already harmed people. The most recent implementations of AI were produced with white collar workers in third world countries who worked long hours and with poor working conditions to train the AI.

My parents might have handed me some change to operate the box of newspapers outside the grocery store when I was three or four so I could try opening it. But I'm not even sure if I got to do that.
