Lemmy.ml and lemmy.world are infested with tankies though. It is probably going to make me leave Lemmy. I've already started to discourage people in my life from joining because of how bad political and technological communities are. A lot of other communities are just empty.

It's not rare at all. These people are massive contributers to political/tech communities, thousand plus posts in a year. You'll see them spamming posts about Israel, denying genocide in Ukraine, and misreprsenting to outright lying if you call them on it. All over lemmy.world and lemmy.ml.

I'm so sick of that person. All over the tech community with horrible and downright stupid takes. Just a while ago they were complaining about bloatware installed on android phones, but then fails to see your point about proprietary software also being useless or abandoned.

They'll block you if you point that out and call it "harassment".

I see that person everywhere. 2k comments in 3 months. They genuinely do not know much of anything. I tagged them as "bad faith actor/unintelligent". Best to avoid engaging with them.

What other brands are available to use for iOS?

Hooray for unions!

To anyone reading - this person is intentionally obtuse.

PebbleOS was sold to Fitbit, Fitbit sold to Google, Google made PebbleOS open source this year. It couldn't have been made before.

That guy is intentionally obtuse and acts in bad faith. Pebble's IP and software were sold to Fitbit. Then Google bought Fitbit. Then Google made PebbleOS open source this year. It couldn't be made until now.

I randomly came across you and saw the tag I left you. Lol

"No you" really? Are you a child?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

Lord have mercy.

User A stated that property damage is not violence.

User B expanded on that topic (not a derailment because it is relevant. A derailment would be them talking about another topic, example: music) and challenged the scope of different definitions of violence. You ignored this.

When you asked User B if they agree that property damage is violence, they stated their position that yes, it can be.

There are TWO different people, with TWO different opinions, and you are mixing them up.

Really? I came across you again. Still acting in bad faith, huh? The founder Eric likes his Pebble watches, and wants to make it again. What is with you and your lack of understanding? How hard is that to believe?

See? Still bad faith.
