Yeah, that's sadly what a lot of companies do. Push it until people complain, then back off a little for a while and then push further once people are used to the status quo. Rinse and repeat.

I'm pretty sure they don't think it's wrong.

I wonder if that will mean anything for David McBride's sentence. Probably not, because I assume the Australian government has ulterior motives behind bringing Assange home, especially with how corrupt it is in many places. But one can hope.

I only know it on PC and I never really had any problems with that, so I doubt it's a universal thing.

Don't just look at the comments. Look at the replies to the top comments. 8 out of 10 times they turn super toxic super quickly in my experience.

So, I haven't been on Lemmy for very long, but one thing seems to be true here, just like on Reddit: People don't understand nuance and are only drawn to extremes. There's sooo much going on between facism and unchecked capitalism and communism, but so many people here are just willfully ignoring that, apparently 🙄

Mostly Imran Chaudhri's reputation, really. The guy created the user interface and interaction designs for the iPhone and worked on a bunch of other Apple stuff. Most of the press material i've seen before the release of the AI pin mostly concentrated on him.

If you, hypothetically, have a working money printer... then you could also trust me, bro 😊
