Same story, different day.

Maybe my Linux skills (which doesn't surprise me) were lacking. I tired in the past and gave up as it was buggy for me. That said I ran the game on a potato for the longest time so adding in emulation probably didn't help.

That's a big issue for lots of people.

I will say though that Steam's Proton is amazing. I play Guild Wars 2 and all previous emulations were awful and buggy. With Proton it's no different to running in Windows.

Definitely worth a try.

I don't, but I'm fine with paying for premium. I hate that a lot of content has sponsored content that your premium subscription doesn't remove. Even if I paid for premium I'd still need to have SponsorBlock to make it watchable.

The internet never used to be like this. It used to be full of shitty GIFs and under construction signs. Also don't forget to sign the guest book and be impressed with the high hit counter.

Yahoo! Also ruled as a search engine.

I've run pihole for years. It works really well. The only problem I've seen is when you actually need a tracking URL to work. For example clicking a link in your emails to download a ticket for a concert. You just need to be mindful that when the browser fails to open a link it's because of the PiHole. There's no nice screen telling you. You just need to pop it into the whitelist to allow it although on a phone I just used to go to mobile data temporarily, click the link and then go back on WiFi.

I recently switched to using NextDNS, as it means all my DNS queries are encrypted and I still get filtering when I'm away from home. I also have three kids to manage so it allows me to set timers on their devices to block certain traffic. Good for blocking adult sites too.

I care. The majority of countries are heavily dependent on WhatsApp and that's not good!

I was getting the banner and eventually it just stopped me watching. Clearing the filter cache and then updating them again worked for me. It took a browser restart though.

Yes. Unless there was a way to share that key between devices. I know Bitwarden is working on a vault for keys but it's not released yet. It was due out now so I assume it's delayed.

I'm blocked. With uBlock Origin and Ghostery on Firefox. This will be a staged release so won't be hitting everyone at once. If you've ever used Android you see this a lot with Google apps.

I dual boot and in Windows they are blocking me now. In Linux, I am not seeing the message. So it's not IP based. I run Firefox in both instances.

I'm using Firefox and uBlock Origin and the same block message.
