Why the quotation marks?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Yeah, the only person who has said it to me on my life is someone who is deep in conspiracy theories. For some "weird" reason I don't have this problem with anyone else in my life.

Sometimes it's more about the other person.

I don't get how this has anything to do with "not hating because your rent is 3k a month" when it comes to having just 10k

How do you budget rent away

My apartment, which is about 22 square meters, costs me the equivalent of 1300 dollars a month. Add in a electricity, food, Public transit card, mobile data, and other small necessary things, and it's at least 1800 dollars a month. And that's without any extra expenses like fun things.

Which would, of course, last under 6 months. That's not a lot of time. I'd need to start a job search immediately to be safe.

Yeah, it could actually work if it's tuned properly. Certainly it could at least be an additional tool for moderators.

What else would be the answer, then? Windows is a commercial product by Microsoft. They will never get better unless forced to. They will keep getting worse for profit because, well, that's what they do.

The whole point about an open-source operating system is that you can make it yours, and nobody can take that away from you. And the more people use linux, the better it gets. Commercial closed sources products can never have the same qualities.

Please don't use the t word, it's generally considered a slur.

With just an IP? Then the system is broken. Because an IP is often easy to get, and everything that directly connects to you needs your IP, unless you use a VPN I guess.

Every website knows your IP. Every internet application knows your IP. Everyone in a peer-to-to-peer network knows your IP. It's not a secret, it's just your internet address. It is designed to be known.

Eh, I found it quite useful in giving me relatively well known information. As for code, it's great at telling me what functions and such do without having to traverse the documentation for a library and such, and also explaining stuff I am confused about. It is faster and more convenient for a lot of stuff, as long as you double check important info (but you have to do that anyway, never use a single source etc etc).
