Personally I love that Microsoft did this. Please keep making windows more and more shit and annoying to use so people will switch to something else

Hopefully in a year years Linux gets more support and becomes a viable alternative

Edit: for me it is and I've been using Linux for years, but some people need certain software

Haha felt that. I jumped from distro to distro constantly then finally settled in fedora after trying it a 2nd time

Every pop up just convinced me to switch to Linux lol

I saw this posted before and tried to use it but I never really worked well. Have there been updates?

For me I just gave up the games that don't work on Linux. I didn't have any windows only software I was bound to tho

Oh boy, another reason to switch to Linux. Thanks Microsoft

  1. Open source
  2. Federated
  3. Community driven and ran
  4. I hate supporting and being fucked in the ass by corporations

I think if the population was just slightly smarter and less submissive then more people would use and support open source software. I don't even mean lemmy, just OSS in general

One of the gems I've found is to your eternity. Still has some annoying ass anime voices but it's a really unique story and almost every episode will make me cry no matter how many times I watch it.

Used to love anime but now that I'm older I dislike it. Still love reading manga, just hate the high pitch annoying ass voice for every female character. A few anime's don't do it and those ones I still love
