Since probably 99% of Windows PCs don't run Bitlocker, I think your recommendation is a bit overblown.

They paid the damages that the gov't was seeking, thus avoiding a jury trial. You could do this too if you were ever sued by the gov't for damages, it isn't a tool that's only available to Google.

So if both sides are behind CGNAT and at least one doesn't have IPv6, establishing a direct link is impossible.

Tailscale is piss easy to install and set up and works just fine for making a direct link from a CGNATed connection.
