If pancakes aren't saiting you, then you need to eat more of them.

But seriously, it's just a case of what you're used to.

In my experience, bacon and pancakes take a fair bit of time to make, but not a great deal of effort or attention. They are perfect for a lazy Saturday morning, and I can talk and socialize with the cook while they are being prepared, or as the cook while I prepare them. Compare to dinner which is either a whole production that keeps me in the kitchen and requires my attention, or tossing something frozen in the oven for an hour.

In general, no, you will not be provided services at no cost. If you want to go back to the post office, they will require you to buy stamps.

If you won't pay cash, then you have to pay data.

I don't think anyone's taking this seriously.

This covers my thoughts about damn near every "helpful" feature this side of auto-complete email addresses.

What is it that you're concerned about? Assume that I have no idea what either the new or old Mozilla privacy policy is, please. I tend to assume that all such are a pack of lies and everything is spying on me.

Some of those I've never seen hyphenated in 30 years of being an avid reader. And some of the corrections I see listed, I've seen used the other way.

But I'm sure they read more broadly than I do.

Am I having a stroke?

We call it "autocorrect."

I never said you should go get the community to bash his brains in, that’s all in your mind.

Yes, because you won't tell me what's in your mind.

When you were younger, if your brother steals from you, you’d turn to your parents, and they’d assess the situation. Now apply that to a community, like a small village or a city block.

You'd go to your parents, yes, who have authority over us both. But your vision prohibits the village or city block from having authority over anyone else. I believe you used the word "evil."

So, for the last time, what is your proposal for dealing with a situation where someone strong steaks from someone weak? If you cannot articulate at least an ideal sort of general solution, compatible with your idea that giving people authority over other people is unacceptable, then we need not continue this conversation.

Then how do you propose the village deal with the situation? You proposed that the solution to someone stronger than me be to get done more guys. And then what?

You might consider using extra words, if you want me to understand your argument.

So you are calling for might makes right. I had hoped you had a better idea than that.

I'd honestly like to try a page out of Heinlein's book. No-one can vote, or run for office, unless they have served a few years working for the government. Prove that you are willing to put the good of the many before the good of yourself, then you get to help steer the ship of state.

There are issues with the system, of course, but most of the people in power today would not be in power under that system.
