Also Andy Jassey does not look like he is able to effectively groom himself, so that tracks.

That’ll teach us plebs. We’d better start licking some serious Amazon boot so they deign to let some of us earn enough to not die.

I’ll just base my conduct on Larry Ellison’s actions instead. As he is championing constant surveillance, he is surely the most virtuous of us all.

Touché @[email protected]

You can’t argue with that logic.

No no. They were referring directly to my people; The Polish-Russian-French-Canadian-Americans.

Thank you for that description. I have never before heard of, and immediately hate, this person.

Exactly a year ago, September 15, 2023, the plaintiffs and defendants filed motions for summary judgment at a Manhattan federal court. The defendants informed the court that they would rely on a fair use defense, despite Grant’s legal team asserting that discovery had “revealed unequivocally” that the use of Electric Avenue was not transformative.

The clunky engineering, security vulnerabilities, and minimal amount of time I would get any use out of it. Also the three thousand dollars.

I don’t really need more reasons to not buy them but thank you!

Disable it on the router. That way if you’re lucky it thinks it’s connected and so won’t constantly bother you about it.

Was she driving?

What about some joggers or pants with one of those hidden side zip pockets, making sure they are a slim fit?

EDIT: For clarification, I feel that the current situation on the ground in the war (vs. say a year ago) might indicate that an attack on Russia might not result in instant nuclear war, which is what prompted my question. I am well aware of the “instant nuclear Armageddon” opinion.

Serious question. I don’t need to be called stupid. I realize nuclear war is bad. Thanks!

It's for my mother, who so far cannot stand LibreOffice.

Transmission is just giving me more and more problems. Anyone have any recommendations?

I did a clean install of Windows 11, and have also used Chris Titus's tools to the best of my ability. Wondering the best extensions to add on Firefox. Also, should I get her onto the Proton train, or try to make her iPhone and Windows play nice?

I helped my 77 year old mother purchase a new laptop, and I want to be sure to get all the bloatware off of it, and set her up with with some better privacy options. I am aMac guy at home so I haven't done this kind of thing for many years. (I use Windows at work, so I'm quite familiar and capable, but obviously I have to rely on IT knowing what they are doing (they don't)). I did make sure to get the pro version of Windows 11. I'm going to set her up with Proton mail I think. This is the computer that is coming:
