Who do you think wrote the "loopholes" into the law? The fossil Fuel Lobbyists. Those weren't oversights. It wasn't like some selfless senator was crafting legislation, and wouldn't you know it, he accidentally defined a light-truck in a way that SUVs still qualify. Aw Shucks.

As far as criminal liability for corporations, do you think that our current representatives just don't think of these "unique" and possibly even good ideas? No! They are PAID by lobbyists to pass the laws that the lobbyists have written specifically for the industry they are representing. Your entire premise is combination of just-world fallacy, and a healthy dose of the wisdom of the markets. But you are absolutely wrong on both accounts.

I mean if Elon offered me the job as CEO of twitter, I would have absolutely taken it knowing full well I was set up to fail. I don't think Linda was ignorant of that fact. Now she may suck in tons of other ways, but I don't really see how her "performance" at the conference reflects on anyone but herself.

Yes lets "reduce the scope of government" so that the people who spend billions on lobbying, can instead use those billions to create their own fiefdoms. This is a good alternative.

Right. A circle is uniquely defined by an arbitrary point C and Ray of length 'r'. If and only if, 'r' is the same, they are equal circles.

The luddites have been proven right, but your strawman of the luddites is absolutely wrong.

Where there is money to be made, and influence to be pedaled, Capitalism will find the person to do it for them. If you are doing it because you are evil you are a conservative, if you are doing it because you think you are actually helping the children, you are a liberal. But the outcomes are the same either way.

Cool. A Trump dictatorship would be just the shot-in-the-arm that our gerontocracy needs when he dies in 2026.

Even better form a township with other like minded folks where pistol firing is at night is a guaranteed right per the town charter. If the charter is changed "substantially" then the charter is dissolved and a new town has to be created with 100% participation from the people living there. If no charter is agreed upon, all public services and taxes are paid to you and controlled by you. The Karen's and corporate landlords who were upset by the guns suddenly find they live in an unincorporated fiefdom, have no garbage collection, municipal water, potentially electricity, sewer, or any other societal niceties. They leave, and you are free to re-incorporate with like-minded comrades.

Obviously the trick is to get the original charter approved by the county/state.

Why not just ignore the stick and go conquer the land that the stick came from? Put houses, trains, and farms on the land and civilize the place?

Trump will go away in at most 4 years even IF he get's elected. This law will exist forever and will only be enforced against undesirables.
