I had to manually turn on the 'annoyances' filter in ublock, has worked fine since then. One thing I have noticed is that sometimes the video is paused when I click on it and I have to manually start it, but that is a small price to pay.
Yeah that's fair enough. Are there any free as in freedom solutions that allow you to sync progress through videos on multiple devices? If I'm watching some long video over multiple days it's really convenient to easily switch it between all my devices, and have it automatically continue where I left off

I had it pop up a couple times in Firefox, but it went away when I enabled the Annoyances filter in ublock settings. The videos just work now, no problem

I think they were accounting for the percentage in the post; 1.43 billion * .63 = about 900 million people's waste without any treatment.
With the multiple updates per day they've been hammering out against the ublock origin devs, I would disagree with that. Can't think of a way they would be accidentally hashing it out against each other per matter of hours
