the first thing you do is get a rag

Was because you were downplaying the importance of the rag. The rag is more important than the water is. If you're cleaning a mess, and your choice is between water and rag, you choose the rag.

How commonly do bidet users scrub with both TP and water in a single sitting? The internet and this comment section suggests it's pretty rare.

People are choosing between bidet (water) and tp (rag), and in your analogy, you're saying the sensible choice is to wash something with only water and no rag. Your analogy only holds water (lol) if you don't actually think about it.

Is that clear enough for you?

Oh I totally agree.

But voting liberal (eg Dems in the USA) gives us more time to find a solution. It's not the solution, it's just a stalling tactic. Even when they're trying to block opportunities, it still results in relatively more opportunities than otherwise. I think there is value in that.

There are times when spoiling a ballot or even voting the other way is good, it sends a message which may (unlikely) cause a shakeup. But to simply never participate just accelerates the destruction.

Your lack of self awareness is absolutely astounding because not only did everything you say apply to you, but in fact you somehow missed that I already did it.

You complain about how you could just write the same response again because I "didn't understand it" in a post where I literally had to rephrase my same point again because you didn't understand it

You say "2 fucking things can be true at once" as though voting to slow the disaster prevents you from doing any of the other things you said I should be doing.

Fuckin learn the concept of critical support you absolute waste of space. You sit on your high horse like some fucking internet edgelord pretending because YOU didn't vote for the bad person, that nothing the bad person did was your fault.

Never mind reading what I wrote, read what you wrote as though as though someone else sent it to you. 🤯

Your priorities just make no sense to me.

Yes both parties are bad, but voting for one is voting for more opportunities to save yourself.
The decision to prioritize giving them the middle finger where nobody can see it over helping yourself is something I can't get my head around. Your resistance does nothing but help the speedy arsonist.

It feels like you're just listing off talking points to score cool points with a bunch of Lemmy edgelords.

But you're waving while standing inside the burning house where they can't see you. Your protest just makes it more likely that the speedy arsonist gets the chance, and does nothing to harm either of the arsonists.

The detail/degree matters.
Its crazy to prefer the speedy arsonist, or to leave the decision up to other arsonists, when you and your family are in the house
