I used to use macOS and macOS used to have a true root user that you can enable. Sometimes after 2016 I think root was neutered and you can no longer do whatever you want. I don't like using macOS anymore.
I can't even remove the "Recommended" section from the Start menu
I daydream about it. Sometimes* I curse the discovery of oil. Instead of herding goats I am debugging C++ template errors. Though I do love airconditioning.
* a lie, I never do :) though I do think about goat herding.

Technically there are many people who speak Latin natively, it is just that it is very late (too late?) Latin.
EVs are cheaper to fill up than internal combustion engine cars, even in oil rich countries - Changan Eado EV, 9 Saudi Riyal (2.4USD) to drive 460km (287.5miles) - . I want to get an EV eventually, I just want to know how well can they handle +50C temperatures.

* only reason I moved away is I bought a new laptop to replace my 2010 Mac mini that ran LinuxMint, and the laptop came preloaded with Windows 11 and I decided to just keep using it as-is as I liked the UI.
Fun fact: it is not an entirely new idea. Microsoft did something similar with Active Desktop in Windows 98 but was later removed.
I'm glad my country went with Huawei. It is good to have cheap alternatives to Western technology and the West is forcing China to develop in this area, so it is a win for everyone.
