Another website with a similar goal: https://jspaint.app

It's a M$ Paint clone and I use it because I don't have Windows.

On a second read, is this satire?

It's their passwords, not search history or something.

Good thing Lemmy 1.19 now has account migration support.

I recommended you use an alternative browser like Samsung Internet, or a Chromium fork called Cromite (UI like Chrome but without Google services). They, along with Firefox, Edge etc. have ad blocker support.

After finding one you like, go into Chrome's app settings and click "Disable" in the middle, so Google Discover won't force you to open in Chrome even if it's not your default browser.

r/todayilearned

Well, today you learned that this is the current state of Reddit.

That would take 2 years to upload.

There isn't an official, that's so Google can't ask them to shut it down, as they technically are not disturbing it. The "unofficial" works completely fine. It's revanced-magisk-module by j-hc.

Still, why is it a hassle?

Why is it a hassle? You can just use a pre-built one, and it's like installing any other APK.

This sounds like something BeastChild would say in a video.

And you should also increase the interface and font size.

I kinda trust them, I don't have any important files on Drive, but I have all my photos on Google Photos, which especially with these Drive files lost news, is not a good idea. I think I will transition to Immich which I already have set up, so I, and only I have control over my data, and it's also free for 5x as more storage (because of an 1TB external hard drive)
