As stupid as the apple glasses are, the gesture function sure seems like it would work well with something like this.

Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
We have a couple things that run in the family. All men in my direct family (so me, my dad and my brother) can twist our mouths in both directions at once, so upper lip one side lower lip the other side, looks funky. We can also do eyebrow dances with moving only single eyebrows but I think that's more common.

You just gotta stick to it, the rocket league progress curve is incredibly steep at the beginning, but if you just brute force through it for a bit you'll reach the first plateau where you actually manage to touch the ball once in a while. Getting over that plateau is a different story and the progress curve is much slower after that.
Also go and do the training sets, start with the easiest ones until you nail them then move on to the next one, etc.
RL is pretty much the only game I still play regularly because I've been playing it for a long time and I can just do one game if I don't have much time, most other games require too much of my very limited free time.
Thanks.

I think one aspect OP didn't talk about is anonymity, for me the biggest differentiator is that on lemmy/Reddit you have no idea who the accounts are most of the time (and more importantly, nobody knows who you are).
At least the socks aren't white.
Yeah as much as I've fantasized about going nuclear on past employers (or more recently, when firing a client), it just doesn't bring any good besides a fleeting moment of feeling superior. It's not worth it, be the bigger person and keep it professional.
