Are there really 0 Renaults in the US? Or I guess maybe just a few imported ones, but like they aren't officially sold there?

Are any other French brands available? I know at least the Germans are.

I guess French cars are too "sensible" for the US market?

I'm usually one to think folks exaggerate the dangerousness of strange staircases in posts like these, but yeah these are definitely gonna cause a few accidents.

I feel like we reached the stage where any improvements are really just incremental and small, you used to get a massively different experience when upgrading your phone even just a year later in the early days, nowadays you can barely tell the difference between new and 5 year old models.

When you learn woodworking, you get to spend 20 to 60h building whatever it is you need, and it only costs you about twice as much as store bought! Of course, that's once you've spent 3 to 10 thousand euros on the gear first.

Even in Celsius you often "it's been 25 and 30" etc. Weather is just not a super accurate thing, it can be different up or down the hill, at the next town over, etc, so I don't get the granularity argument. I would agree, you can still find unbiased stuff on YouTube, though depending how popular the thing you're looking up is, you might also have to go through a bunch of sell-outs first.
