I seem to recall burning through Brave New World in an afternoon. It's a bit more dense, but if you like history, Devil in the White City is a great book (and it kind of hits that horror part). There's a ton of Arthur C. Clarke sci-fi worth reading, lots of it in short story form.
You can honestly start your own TLD for a lot less with any DNS server. That doesn't mean anyone else will necessarily use it, but you can.
