Yep, tor me it's because it requires a Pixel. And specifically poor Pixel battery life.

I value battery life, and every Pixel I check out on gsmarena has an endurance rating < 90h.

For comparison, my current phone's endurance rating is 113h, and this is why I ended up shopping by chipset. Everything not Snapdragon had poor battery life. (Disclaimer: haven't looked for a couple of years)

Every time.

Because this old man hasn't learnt the lesson...

Yep, even says in the article 'destroy or de-identify'. So, they will summarize or transform/anonymize the data and just throw away the source.

Yeah, I checked installed apps (checked system apps), and I don't have it installed on either of my devices

I'm in Australia, and when I search for Device Lock Controller in Play Store, it says "This app is not available in your region"

This happens on 2 separate devices from different manufacturers. Both devices were purchased in Australia and have Australian ROMs

Just be aware that any software that has Australians working on it can be forced to include backdoors, and are not allowed to disclose it either

It's literally right in front of them. Why would they not make pirates walk the plank?

Obviously, the movie industry would love to compare it with the most severe crime they can come up with

Clearly, it's rape and murder.

You are raping their digital bits by taking them without their consent.

And you are murdering the money they should have had.

I had a work colleague who had a spreadsheet with one column calculating something to do with a particular date. They didn't have any formulas at all. For any calculations. They would go in each day and manually calculate and then type in the values. In every cell.

I put in an input cell date, and simplest of formulas in 3 cells, and they looked at me like I was some kind of wizard.

I returned to my desk, put my head in my hands in sheer shock. I still don't understand what they thought a spreadsheet was for....It made.nice columns?

Anyways, when I recovered, I finished my resignation letter,.and that was the best thing I ever did in that particular cesspool 😁
