I think it's a joke

what? no, I am using davx5, I am syncing my calendars.

but calendars that are synced don't show their tasks in fossify calendar.

and my problem with dav is the servers and their administration. ever tried sharing a calendar in radicale (not supported) or baikal (annoyingly confusing and undocumented)?

All I have is 2 Rooms full of Philips Hue Lights and A few Cameras.

I am always so envious of people that were already able to automate their Smarthome.

Next I want to automate the outdoor lights as well as the Garagedoor. But I think I'll wait for Thread because it seems more resillient than Zigbee.

(Android) Calendars.

fossify calendar is somewhat great, but it doesn't have support for tasks (except in its own calendars that can't be synced)

And don't get me started on CalDav and trying to selfhost it. Baikal, Radicale.

Actually I think CalDav is the source of all of our problems. At least everyone I know won't touch it with a 2-meter pole.

And the reason why proprietary Calendars are so much better.

Didn't see the "one of the" there and was about to lose my faith in humanity.

Even more.

Given that you yourself are remembering him, you can't wait until you die / have dementia?

Did we read the same Article?

According to the latest Android Developer Blog, in 2025, there will be a major Android update in Q2 instead of Q3. Following that, there will be a minor Q4 update. Google says that this is “better align with the schedule of device launches across our ecosystem, so more devices can get the major release of Android sooner.”

This will allow third-party phone makers to push out Android 16 earlier than later. Due to this year’s delay, Samsung’s One UI 7 beta is launching later than usual. This even gives Google more time. In 2024, Google launched the Pixel 9 series without the latest version of Android. By pushing up Android 16, even if Google launches the Pixel 10 series in August, it should hopefully come with the latest version of Android.

I read that as: "It gets released earlier so android manufacturers have more time to update their Rom before they release their phones"

I absolutely 100% get what you mean.

But I'd implore you to wait a Moment and think about it. Voting for Trump isn't only going to "own the Tankies", It will also damage everyone else, including you. Don't let others bully you into voting for someone that doesn't help you. Be egoistic, vote for someone who actually cares about you.

But nobody talked about Trump, did they?

You assumed and started that.

edit: as a reminder, we’re talking about people who cause and advocate for this

Are we though?

Where did we start talking about "this"?

You decided to make it about "this".

No. You give 2 Months.

No, AI means AI

Corporations came up with AGI so they could call their current non-AI AI

It's a LLM. Not an AI.

Hey there. I am looking for a Calendar-Syncing-Solution that can:

  1. Sync CalDav Calendars between Phone, Laptop and Desktop

  2. share certain Calendars with other Users on my Server

  3. subscribe to external Ical Calendars and make them available to (certain) Users

but nothing i looked at seems to support my Point Nr. 3. anyone know a good solution for me?
