The algo on the official app inserts other content even so. It was never a problem on RIF.

It's definitely because Apollo. It was never a problem in RIF, only in the official app once 3PAs were killed.
I only browse by subscribed. Part of the reason I stopped browsing reddit is they won't stop showing me content I didn't sub.
I don't think it's bizarre to expect that my food be in ready-to-eat condition when it's served, why should drinks be any different?
