Oh interesting twist, will keep in mind

I love banana smoothie way more than banana bread. Put a couple ripe bananas, some sugar, milk, blend. Enjoy. Less effort and more bananas used.

I think you'd be fine here in Australia but that depends on whether you have a job or not. Australia is good for anyone who comes with employment already. Otherwise its Work And Holiday visa pathways are better suited to younger people because of the usually physical and demanding nature of the jobs available.

Otherwise Argentina would also be legally okay for you, however I haven't lived there for a very long time so I can't say for sure. It would be a lot less safe for foreigners than Australia but I hear it wouldn't be more rough than some of the rough places in the US. You will want a stable source of income ideally from a remote job, such as freelancing for clients that can pay with dollars or euros. You will also want a friend who's native or already well established so they can teach you the ropes socially/locally and with the current state of the country. I would personally not go back to Argentina without a stable income because making a livable income inside the country is going to be next to impossible.

I like your solution. I accept

I remember that thing I hate: Ice cream melting faster than your consumption speed. Aaaaarrrrrrrgghhhh I hate it!

Or get a privacy respectful app from fdroid. I use Periodical.

I guess Lemmy, for news and memes and talking to random people.

Then Instagram, to talk to a few people. Occasionally I scroll the feed, see some jokes, save pretty pictures but I don't like the platform

Then discord but I don't think that is something I use often

I do browse YouTube a lot but through newpipe so I just lurk it, I don't interact with it.

If Whatsapp counts then yes, I also have some chats there since a lot of people use it. Inescapable because of work I guess.

I'm not a hater but I understand the sentiment. I only exchange audio with very few people I feel comfortable with we both want to listen to our shit for that long, and I never expect a quick reply.

Randoms or new acquaintances sending audios without asking permission first usually annoy me.

I hope you shrug them off, they deserve it

No, if anything it's the opposite, there are foods (mostly junk foods and beverages) I used to love as a kid but now I find revolting. Most other veg and controversial foods like olives or blue cheese were always on my yes list though.

I do have some things i didn't like that now I tolerate, but saying that I love them or like them is a stretch. I think coffee is one, I drink some and can even get addicted to it but I don't consider myself a lover. Another example is eggplant, I used to hate it as a kid and now I tolerate it without loving it.

I'm sorry for you having to endure the whole ordeal but 110k serves her right then. I hope that covered all the losses, did you get to use any of that money for something wholesome or just bills?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 6 days ago (3 children)

Hot damn. So she had the money, she just didn't want to pay, didn't get a shred of remorse about you after the attack?

Turns out I have a disc bulge between two of my cervicals and it's pinching a nerve, which is very very painful and weakening my arm and finger sensitivity.

I'm not here asking for advice, rather to get an idea of what's down the road for me depending on the type of treatment I'll end up following. I am seeing a doctor, I have an appointment tomorrow. I also had a CT scan done.

So basically if you've had something similar anywhere on your spine I'd appreciate to know about it. Did you recover fully? How long did it take? What treatment did you follow? Did you complement it with anything such as specialized exercises, acupuncture, massage or else?

Please go easy on me, I'm not very tech savvy. So I got a new android phone, and everything is ok except the audio. This is using the same headphones I used with my old phone, so I'm not talking about improving the phone's speakers or headphones, but the quality of the sound as it is processed in the phone itself.

There is an equalizer (Dolby Atmos) but after trying every preset and option available I give up. They all sound tinny or kind of muffled. My old phone had just a basic "Moto Audio" and it was great. Both phones are Motorola and I'm disappointed to see this downgrade.

So the question is, can I install something to fix this and if yes, what type of app am I looking for?

Thanks

ALWAYS GETS ME AAAARRRRRRGHHHHHHH I make sure I disconnect them from all devices; I make sure they are well positioned in their cases; that the charging lights are on etc and yet.... they disappoint me like this...

Ahoy! I know this has been asked a lot already, I've been following up and doing some research online but I'm still confused. Sorry.

1-I'm not exactly tech savvy. (Ok. I'm thick as a brick) 2-I'm a very casual BitTorrent user. I'll go months without torrenting.

3-I do stream more frequently.

4-I travel often, meaning I don't often have admin access to the networks I connect to

I currently have Nord. I heard it's no longer as trusted as it used to, and since my subscription is ending I'm wondering if I should jump ship.

I read I should be using Port Forwarding, and I get the concept of it somewhat but I'm still not sure if I need it (considering my casual torrent use, so far... I've been ok?), and also, I have no idea how to set that up. (would #4 be a problem?).

Now, VPN: Mullvad, AirVPN, and Proton seem to be the most reliable ones. Is that right?

Air has good pricing atm, and port forwarding. I heard it's not too user friendly though? (#1)

Mullvad seems to have a solid rep. but no port forwarding (It used to? Their website doesn't say much unless I create an account?)

Proton: has PF, seems good too

Or should I just stick with Nord?

TLDR which VPN should I go for considering 1,2,3,4, and should I consider port forwarding in my decision?

Thanks

I'm a very casual sailor, and not very tech savvy, but I've torrented and used magnet links in the past with no issues.

I found the file I'm looking for. But things have changed. The site I used doesn't provide magnets anymore, only Rapidgator links (split into 5 rar files, this is going to take me days) for direct downloads .

Every other link I found sends me to torrent trackers I need to create an account for, such as RuTracker. Which I tried, and with different emails, (brand new emails) yet every time I get rejected. Why? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to wait a couple of hours after creating the account? Are the sites not accepting registrations anymore?
