Just like, that's such a bad system , why did people put up with it?

Because hindsight is 20/20 and people had preconceptions back then that filled in the gaps, as they do right now.

The gaps are and were actually full of nonsense like "he's my buddy I'll give him money" but people expect the process to be a lot more reliable and solid, because they think they'd be more careful with that kind of money, not realising that to some millions are pocket change (and nobody is careful with pocket change) and that others gamble with other people's money and thus are a lot more cavalier.

That's a basic admissibility criteria, you are not allowed to just dump a pile of evidence onto the judge's lap, you have to make a case for each item as to why they're relevant to the case.

That said, the idea that the president acting in an official capacity wouldn't be prosecutable for his behaviour is a scary thought in its own right.

This isn't like, basic necessities food. This fast food.

The cost is the manpower and prep involved in being able to deliver food, fast.

The deals are there to make you check the rest of the website and be acquainted with their products, in exchange you get a price reduction.

There is no ripping off, you're just not doing an additional bit of trading. If you don't want food at the price Domino's offers nobody says you must purchase from them.

I use names off the list of 22 fallen angels from the Book of Enoch.

It's a really interesting piece of hebrew apocrypha that details the circumstances leading to the flood. Feels much more high fantasy/pagan myth than the modern bible/torah.

Weren't they the people who hid threats in the code aimed at geohot?

This, publicly trading means your company is now the product, games are just a way to make the stock price go up, so they need to sell gazillions and have the broadest possible audience.

This inevitably leads to flavour of the month design by committee garbage gameplay, enshittified business models like "live service", and writing catering to "global audiences" with cookie cutter quips and insufferable millennial "humour".

All that or whatever the fuck cod writers are mainlining alongside taurine and the tortured soul of Chris Benoit.

No, you can deal with that at any time but it's not in the settings, you need to look up where that setting is stored, it's not even mentioned at install time, as far as I remember.

I did it months ago so i don't remember where that is off the top of my head or I'd tell you directly.

I'm very comfortable on debian but do make sure you disable automatic suspension if you install gnome because that shit is not in any settings you can edit in the control panel.

I remember "subforums" back in the day, so it definitely didn't start with reddit.

Way back at the beginning of my figuring out home automation, I bought a Animus Heart.

It's ok but it's extremely limited and the UI is terribly sluggish and unwieldy, so I'd like to replace the OS with Home Assistant instead.

I have reason (my router recognising it as a such when it crashed) to believe that on the inside it's just a Raspberry Pi with some added bells and whistles.

Has anyone tried this? Is this feasible?
