Uh I'd never thought how useful mask ear loops could be. Congrats, you just added another item to my collection.

Any type of container that closes if it's in good enough shape (bottles, jars, cardboard boxes, bags). Also small open containers like yogurt or instant soup cups are probably the most useful for holding small items/snacks. When they become too many, you pick the best of each and throw away the rest. I also tend to keep foam packaging even though I've never found an actual use for it.

But IM gives you the pleasure of "replying" with a dot to a previous message you sent to bring it to their attention :)

Not exactly a long line but super slow. It was for a university examination where we just answered some questions about a project we did through the semester, so it shouldn't have taken this long. They didn't have a good place to host this so we were about 100 people waiting in 2 hallways without any chairs. We were split into groups based on our student id number. There was a general disorganization but our group seemed particularly slow. I think my initial time of examination was 6pm. I went second to last in my group and ended up leaving at 9:15. The university officially closes at 9. There were actually people who had assigned times in the morning and had to wait longer so it turns out I wasn't that unlucky.

If you exclude the progressively smaller furniture I think I've been to some IKEAs that felt like this.

I say that too then never follow it. In my defence it's usually a beer bottle

I've chipped part of my teeth at least twice bringing a bottle to my mouth. At this point I've accepted the sides of my front teeth will always look a bit messed up.

Cables are already pretty cheap without being of super questionable quality. I wouldn't risk my electronics trying out a cable I thought was fake.

I like most songs by Carla's Dreams (Romanian/Moldovan + Russian). From eurovision, Shum (Ukrainian) and My sister's crown (English+Ukrainian+Czech+Bulgarian) are pretty good. Slavic languages just sound nice in songs.

Also most pop in catalan (eg. La sortida, escriurem, Ara!).

For something rarer check out Pat Boy who sings in Mayan.

With a quick search it seems to be a translation specifically targeting Android 8.0 (API 26) but I only see it in the TBLauncher project. Some small details here but not sure why there is a separate translation for it https://github.com/TBog/TBLauncher/issues/90.

I thought I'd use it when I got my phone but I've since found Bluetooth headphones that are actually convenient so I don't. Now this headphone form factor is dying so I might go back to wired once they stop working. I hope the jack still exists by then.

Watching game shows like the voice or masterchef of other countries to get a feeling of "real" language/accents. Usually movies or the news use a more formal and clear language but when you understand these shows you know you can understand people in everyday conversations.
