There are laws against smoking in public places and cigarettes are expensive. Those who smoke are in it for themselves, not a European thing.

City zoning.

Oh, i have to drive from single family zone to commercial district to pick up a loaf of bread. Then drive to education district to drop kids at kindergarten, and finally to business district to work. At the end of the day i hang out at bar/entertainment district with the guys from work to have a beer, but there's no public transport so I have to drink alcohol free so I can drive back home. That's only 120 miles in a day!

Why not? Do you push directly to master?

On one occasion i had to take over a task from a colleague while he was on his day off. He did not push his changes. I am sure he had backups but when i asked him to push his changes he had to drive home to do it.

I'd rather company IP stays on its git server.

What if while you sleep over it your laptop gets stolen or damaged? I'd rather push every small change than sit on it.

The electric infrastructure is the whole grid. I'd argue apartment complex are better prepared for the increased power use than a gas station and is more convenient a location than gas station.

What are you going to do while waiting for your car to charge? At least at home you can go.. home. Shopping centres are a close second. You can do your shopping while you're charging. Parking spaces and grid are already there.

Still software gore. Spacing should not matter, proper parsing should ignore whitespace in a simple format like this.

I doubt your typical apple user will use the usb port for anything other than charging.

If they are going to improve transfer speeds it's not going to happen in the same iteration they're being made to switch to usb c for two reasons:

  1. They want to incetivise users to upgrade to a newer model 16
  2. They will want to take credit for faster speeds. Otherwise people will think usb c is just faster than lighting they were stuck with for years.

As opposed to under capitalism where you have to cross your fingers and hoping that one of those winners will offer you a job with living wage, while another doesn't charge you an arm and leg for housing.
