Agree. My GF and I go to plenty of "shows".

The handful of bigger venues we attend sell tickets directly. Like Tanglewood or Boston Symphony Hall.

Research frequency that literally makes people feel ill, nausea... set up. Wear ear plugs and leave for a while.

No idea if this has ever worked.
