I started using Pocket Casts last year when it was $10 per year. This year they first raised it to $15 per year, and now it is $40 per year. That is too much in my opinion. I've had enough with services that nearly always get worse, so I am now using AntennaPod. It is a free open source Android app that doesn't need accounts or subscriptions.

I used Namecheap for several years and was happy with it, but the numerous price increases finally pushed me to switch. I recently decided on Porkbun after the many positive reviews I read online. It is affordable and has a very clean interface that doesn’t constantly nag me about purchasing other services. I’m really liking it so far.

If DNS is separate, the registrar doesn't matter and I can move to a cheaper one whenever I want. It's a lot more time consuming if I have to move all my DNS records as well.

This was a false rumor. Asus has issued a press release confirming that the Zenfone line will continue.

Graphene OS > iOS > Stock Android

The same is true for stock Android devices. Unless you are using a custom ROM without Google Play Services, there is more proprietary software than open source running on Android devices.
