Firefox is part of the for-profit Mozilla Corporation. Donations go to the nonprofit Mozilla Foundation. Even though Mozilla Corporation is owned by Mozilla Foundation, donations cannot be transferred to it since it is still legally a for-profit business. The funds donated to Mozilla Foundation are used for advocacy work.

Even as a primarily Android user, I agree. I have tried most music streaming services at this point and Apple Music has been the best for helping me discover music. Most others play it too safe with the algorithm and only play music I already like.

Another plus is Apple Music is one of the last remaining music platforms that is not trying to shove podcasts down my throat.

Those donations cannot be used for Firefox development due to the structure of Mozilla.

how can I find out if it will run on my old Samsung Galaxy S7?

It won't. GrapheneOS only supports recent Pixel phones.

I agree that Kagi isn't great from a privacy perspective. But in regards to clearing cookies, they do have a session link feature that uses a token to avoid the need to sign in all the time.

It's great and the main reason I first started using it. There is a database export and import option which transfers nearly everything. It transfers subscriptions, settings, history, etc. I think the only thing that doesn't transfer is downloaded episodes.

It is free for most features, but the paid subscription is now $40 per year.

If you only listen to podcasts on your phone, I can highly recommend AntennaPod. It is free and open source. I have been using it for around 6 months now since Pocket Casts increased from $10 to $40 per year.

Google Podcasts does, but background play is a premium feature on YouTube Music.
