Dumb question but do "likes" on #Mastodon automatically create up-votes on a #Lemmy post? I want to get a good grasp on the #Fediverse. in c/[email protected]

I’m more confused after reading the responses so far than I was before coming here.

There's a clear up tick on daily users growing and we've crossed the 50k line as of yesterday! LETSSS GOOO! in c/[email protected]

Same. I joined only a few days ago but this app is already competitive for me. The feed is already more interesting.

The only thing it’s lacking right now is niche communities, but those will grow as more people join.
