Burning cds!

I was trying to burn a copy of a game from my friend. It failed over and over. Eventually it succeeded and I was able to play return to castle wolfeinstein.

Not sure if it failed due to copy protection or whatever, but I played that game a bunch back in the day. In more recent years I just bought it for like $1

I’m not sure, I have an old machine with 16gb. It ran fine in that, but I found a better solution for myself shortly after.

There is an iOS extension that lets YouTube play in the native iOS browser. It blocks ads as well, so I just use that.

The privacy focused stuff is cool, but I’m blocking ads and my watch progress is saved which is important to me.

Viewtube was pretty easy to get running. Their rocker container started up almost right away.

The only problem I have with them, is that it doesn’t seem to import my YouTube subscriptions.

I got my number from the article that was posted.

Yeah but they eared more than double that in profit in their 2023 year. This is taxes over a 20 year period.

In this context it does not seem like it’s too much.

I love how how angry and focused he is. Sometimes I put him on while doing chores to listen to him ramble

That’s really interesting. Thanks. I never knew this.

Does that do the trick?

I’d guess that they are worried the IP owners will sue them for singing their IP.

So sonic creators will say, your profiting by using sonic and not paying us for the right to use him.

But I agree that deep fakes can be pretty bad.

I’d love to see a comeback of this.

But it does seem that the web as Toni’s today is dying. There is no better time tech wise to do things the old way.

For reference, my first console was an nes. But I think the PS2 era was the last great era of games.

Once we had online connectivity, everything kind of got worse. Broken games to be patched later, micro transactions, the loss of local multiplayer.

I almost only play indie games these days or I emulate titles from the ps2 and earlier. It’s a shame that the magic gaming had before the internet has been lost.
