Australia was really fun because man do they know how to properly roast someone. They'd come up with some of the most creative ways to call me a fuck ass yank and then buy my next beer haha

(Although, I absolutely whooped everyone down there in darts and I'm not even that good haha)

I've only met one person from France in my life. It was at a music festival here in the states. I asked him if he knew where a specific stage was and through that thick French accent he said "go fuck yourself" and then walked away.

Obviously a sample size of one doesn't represent a whole country but yeah.

Source Code release could be complicated, especially for games that aren't 30 years old because the devs don't start over from scratch every time so there would still be an enormous amount of proprietary code in it.

Itd be cool (and as impractical as it is, I believe all code should be open sources) but not really feasible

There used to be but the moderators forgot to sign up for HP Smart® Instant Ink™ and used non-authorized ink (first party ink ordered directly from HPs website) so it got shut down 😔

Yeah but if they let users control the data then how are they supposed to sell it to insurance companies to boost their value to VCs???

Hmm you're right. I thought it was closer to 0 ad, but it looks like it was closer to 600-300 bc.

Doesn't change my point though.

Sure, but comparing what people thought 2000 years ago to what they think now is a fruitless endeavor.

The concept of democracy came about around that time too (at least the Greek one, which arguably wasn't the first but I digress) but should we exclude women and foreigners from it? That's what the early proponents of democracy wanted.

Its not nearly as Dinky as it looks in this picture. Its almost the entire width of the device. I got to play with it a bit and its actually super stable, its obviously not 100% rigid and personally I wouldnt use it like that because its a bit awkward. But its a really cool device.

Here's the store page with some more pics of it.

I've had issues with Boost. It just doesn't seem to be loading my account subscriptions or anything.

Which is a shame cause Boost was my favorite reddit app

Or creating super mutant athletes. Like how fast do you think a modified human body could run? Or jump?

Tbh I don't think anything would really get done. Politicians would just recycle the same super popular ideas to prevent themselves from getting lynched.

It'd be like how video games companies are just churning out safe titles they know will sell really well, but with our government instead of video games.

Where? I haven't heard of any rail lines that don't have a human operator onboard or somewhere in the loop?

Hello all, I am looking to start getting back into RSS feeds but nothing Ive found so far matches all of my requirements so i was going to see if you guys had any advice.

My requirements are:

  • Self hosted (preferably with an official docker container)
  • I should be able to view it in the web, as well as with an Android app but it doesn't have to be a first party app
  • It has to look nice and modern, preferably with a dark mode option

Anything you guys know of that would meet all three of those things?

Currently my plan is to run FreshRSS as my aggregator and FeedMe or Focus Reader on Android. I don't really have any plans for web viewers though
