I think it's a bit concerning that AI has given us a gut reaction to suspect anything slightly unusual to be non-human generated.

Because of the general culture and mindset. Haven't found that anywhere else. That mindset also means they're going to get a whole lot of poison in their datasets.

You brought up specifically HD. I'm willing to watch ads so that YT can continue delivering even lower quality videos as long as those ads don't interrupt the video.

So hide the HD stuff behind a paywall. I'm perfectly happy at 720p for the VAST majority of videos. Might even agree to go lower if it means I can watch it without ad breaks.

I like that too and I don't understand why people are so very fundamentally against having stuff recommended to them based on what they're already following.
