A classic misaligment problem. Human wanted a fair wage, AI gave a number that would please the human.

Not giving people the option to change their email makes a hacker's job much easier!

What?! How!?

Layperson uses same email, same username, same password and 2fa only if it is required for an account.

Anything more and they aren't the layperson anymore. They are security conscious that they use difffrent passwords or password manager.

Anything more and they become paranoid (rightfuly or not, it isn't for me to judge as there are jobs that require as much protection as possible)

When an email is compromised, changed and there isn't any footprint due to deletion of any suspicious activity then laypersons whole internet presence is compromised.

Emails will keep incoming into the same inbox when there is suspicious activity, if email can't be changed easily

Imagine if you have your email compromised then it is too easy to loose all your accounts if changing the email is easy

For AI/ML workloads the VRAM is king

As you are starting out something older with lots of VRAM would be better than something faster with less VRAM for the same price.

The 4060 ti is a good baseline to compare against as it has a 16GB variant

"Minimum" VRAM for ML is around 10GB the more the better, less VRAM could be usable but with sacrefices with speed and quality.

If you like that stuff in couple of months, you could sell the GPU that you would buy and swap it with 4090 super

For AMD support is confusing as there is no official support for rocm (for mid range GPUs) on linux but someone said that it works.

There is new ZLUDA that enables running CUDA workloads on ROCm

https://www.xda-developers.com/nvidia-cuda-amd-zluda/

I don't have enough info to reccomend AMD cards

Some answers for my xiaomi exerience with global ROM.

To change wallpaper or deafult ringtone you need to consent for data harvesting. I am using custom luncher no problem. There are couple of very annoing bugs: reboot messes the layout of quick actions. Sometimes open apps are missaligned. Battery optimization is so bad that sometimes my timer won't ring to remind me that my laundry is ready. I had overslept couple of times due to this. Xiaomi really pushes for their native video, gallery and app store but it doesn't prevent from changing the deafults.

I also got bad QA and audio DAC was broken for me.

I don't use assistant but it always pops up and wants my attention

G maps works good and links to google play open in google play.

You could bring it to reapir shop and they could resolder the memory or attach temporary screen

A fellow had just been hired as the new CEO of a large high tech corporation. The CEO who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. "Open these if you run up against a problem you don't think you can solve," he said.

Well, things went along pretty smoothly, but six months later, sales took a downturn and he was really catching a lot of heat. About at his wit's end, he remembered the envelopes. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, "Blame your predecessor."

The new CEO called a press conference and tactfully laid the blame at the feet of the previous CEO. Satisfied with his comments, the press -- and Wall Street - responded positively, sales began to pick up and the problem was soon behind him.

About a year later, the company was again experiencing a slight dip in sales, combined with serious product problems. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO quickly opened the second envelope. The message read, "Reorganize." This he did, and the company quickly rebounded.

After several consecutive profitable quarters, the company once again fell on difficult times. The CEO went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope.

The message said, "Prepare three envelopes."
