Was strange that they had the USB c connector on the MacBooks and the iPads before the iPhones, making USB-C to lighting cables seemed frivolous

A lower strength more pinned Magsafe type of adapter would have been cool. They would be more costly though so I assume that's why we don't. Reversible, solid, and don't have lose pins to break

That's impressive, how many watts is your phone charger? I would have assumed you could do the opposite but thought the laptop would have laughed when you attached a small stream to it.

The stability of Mini USB I liked most. Plug a PS3 controller in 100 times and it always seemed solid. Micro USB was flimsy, but I wish the would have done usb-c like the lightning connector and made it solid. I would think it would last longer that way, but I never owned an iPhone so I could be wrong. Those could be more prone to snapping, like palm trees vs pine tree.

That moment when I question what Q stands for. Lesbian Gay Bi ? Trans I thought the Q was queer, which always seemed redundant, so I just took it to mean pans. Like LGBPT.

Lol, I get it, I just find it fun to see all the traffic going to the comments of the banned post

It's not a book ban, the books just have to be approved before they can be brought in, and they haven't been approved, nor will they be.

While I understand their point, it's like going to the channel with the stock market banner on the bottom and complaining it is taking up part of the screen, where I would almost say the other 90% of the screen is the ads.

So many hours spent watching that as a child. It was either that channel or Bob Barker when I was on summer break

There is a large portion of the population that doesn't know anything about how 401ks work. They are told their employer will take 3% or such out of their income and put it into a 401k account, and some part of that money will be matched by the employer (varying).

Those who don't know the market don't touch the money, it is invested for them. So it is very possible whoever posted this is among those people. It is not always wise on their end, but if a professional can lose money investing large amounts for companies like that, so could an inexperienced person. The annual report for 2023 for my company's investments saw loses as well. The little money I had was elsewhere so I lucked out on that part.

I couldn't figure out a way in Brave, it won't let you set a custom URL for the default browser. Firefox allowed it to just change the customer browser link in the format of

Couldn't find an APK to test vanadium, I assume it may be exclusive to GrapheneOS? (I just called it test for this, so name it something you'll recognize in a few months)

Once the Default browser is changed in Firefox/chrome, their widgets pull that information from the app, so it just searches that way.

Yeah, the chrome one will convert.

If you set it as your default search in chrome or such, it will convert the Google search bar in Android to a SearXNG search bar. I started using it a little while back. Firefox never did well for me on Android (I'm sure it's anecdotal)
