Haha maybe they will. I was thinking more like family photos.

I could see applications for home use. Media backup comes to mind.
I’m not a lady but my wife says Mimolette.
But more intelligently for who? Faster traffic flow is not an unadulterated good. In my view we probably want areas with many intersections to have slower traffic, not faster. Faster traffic means less safety, especially for non-car users and could trigger induced demand, eliminating any GHG benefits.
It all depends on the model and what the inputs and goals are. I’ve noticed that signals optimally timed for vehicle traffic are often more difficult and dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians.
Why pig hearts? Is it just a size issue?
I think YouTube is forcing content creators to be pawns in its war against its users and we should not fall for its tricks.
Note that YouTube is still being paid for these views in spite of this “invalid traffic”. So they can easily solve this problem by altering their payment model. I don’t personally feel the need to take responsibility for their decision of how much to pay their employees.
If I wanted to support a content creator that badly I would just donate to them directly. Ads are the real mind virus.
I’m skeptical… how are the fake reviews identified and how do you avoid flagging real ones?
As much as I would love that central route (I live in Sacramento) crossing the Rockies and the Sierras seems almost insurmountable for high speed rail. The mountains of the southwest are a lot more isolated, so that’s why I see that as more viable.
But yeah realistically we need to look at connecting regions first, then once we have two robust networks in the west and east, we can determine the best way to connect them.
They can just build their own model if they want to. It’s not that hard, especially since the police have a lot of money. So the question is more do we allow this than will they somehow steal it from another unrelated program.
What’s west of Chicago though? That line makes sense on its own merits but if you want coast to coast, a southern route might make more sense.
I actually like Acela. You have to work with the infrastructure you start with, but eventually I’d like to see a faster and more subsidized line there.
But is this actually true? I hate that they just printed this without any attempt to verify it. Surely some independent body has looked into this by now.
