Comparing Lemmy and Reddit is a bit icky in general, but for something I would like to see is improved cross-posting. Something like an option to show them as one post with shared votes and comments. A good chunk of that would probably be on the front end and there's probably some pretty funky edge cases with how federation works. Also I'm sure a lot of people would not want that, so it would have to be optional I guess.

Sites in search results actually had the shit you were searching for. These days it's scam bullshit or "removed" from the results. Otherwise I do kind of miss the old forum communities. Very little of that left anymore

Sure, but parents are responsible for their kid's internet use, not the fucking government. All these bullshit "won't anyone think of the kids' internet regulation things are all about tracking the whole population, the kids are just the excuse they use to try to roll this nonsense trough.

Could be worth checking your scale, if everything seems to be underweight. Low battery can show as lower result on some scales
