Not to me, I’ve never understood that sentiment. I can act as silly as I want without being drunk, and I hate how it turns other people into almost different people. If I wanted to be friends with their drunken selves, I wouldn’t be friends with their sober selves.

You’re totally right. I guess I was thinking of it from the angle of people who do things like this on purpose (but in control), not people who have lost control due to addiction or otherwise. Probably because of the “jokey” tone of the post.
People are so weird in their obsession with alcohol and getting drunk…
That they have to buy personally for some reason, instead of receiving a stipend or something…
I’m not defending corps here, I’m just tired of hearing people complain and whine and moan about the same bullshit over and over. If you aren’t researching and comparing price per ounce between brands to get the best bang for your buck, you are LAZY and have no right to complain you got “cheated”. You see, people like that me that grew up poor all our lives HAVE to tirelessly be on the lookout for this shit because we have no other choice. If we waste money needlessly, we are FUCKED. You can fight this corporate trickery nonsense by just paying attention, just doing a little math, it’s not hard, I promise you!

The dumbasses that gave them the money should have made it so the companies did the work FIRST, then get reimbursed when they could prove they finished it. Whole thing was stupid.
