The value of commercial buildings doesn't go to zero. They're just cut in half (based on recent sales prices).

Just because the price of an asset goes down doesn't mean the economy crumbles. In fact, buyers / renters are now better off. I'm sure poor Grandmas are in that category.

Eligible for flu shots? Tf? In the US, almost all shots are 100% free. It's the most cost effective way to keep people healthy. I thought you guys had healthcare?

Leadership is always to blame if there are problems. That's what being a leader is.

Here's an easy way to tell who to blame: if their recent projects were a success, who would get the accolades?

The executive leadership team, most likely. No one would say "they don't automatically get credit". So they should get the blame when things go poorly.

You didn't answer the very simple questions I asked about growth.

I'm suggesting that the current leaders earn their pay through definable metrics. If the company is growing why are they shedding workers? It's an indication that management either over-hired before or is stupidly firing people now. Both are bad.

Pension providers compete with each other to offer the best return

Boy do I have news for you. Most retail investora want flashy charts, and they will pay higher fees to see them. They have no idea what they are charged or how it affects their returns.

That's because the technology sucks. If it really was revolutionary, $3500 would be a bargain.

People pay that right now for gaming computers. If it could replace that, it would be worth it. Many people own toys more expensive than that (motorcycles, boats, jet skis). People with mobility issues spend that amount on their wheelchair and can barely go to the Grand Canyon, let alone more remote places.

It's just a technology issue. It sucks.

Your confusion probably relates to your idea that people dislike the cost of Vision Pro, as opposed to any actual problems with the product. All those other products were expensive versions of things that existed already that people used.

VR has existed for 40 years (remember Tron?). The reason it never took off is because the headset sucks and gives you a headache after an hour. That's basically it. People will buy most anything, but a headache is pushing it.

You don't "challenge them on it". You just file for unemployment.

They have to prove it's not constructive dismissal to the unemployment department. No, the government arbiter will not like Apple claiming it's not a hardship. This is a slam dunk case and may result in a fine due to the WARN act.

This is essentially a layoff. Employees signed employment contracts to work in a particular location. You can't just move that location out of the local area.

Even regular planes have negative effects on the neighborhoods they take off and land over. This is definitely going to be worse.

I'll only believe the "low noise" PR if it flies supersonic directly over Malibu or the Hamptons and Nantucket.

They don't disappear, the people still exist. They just change the justification for their actions. They can't say out loud their real motivation: they desire a hierarchy where they are on top and others are below them.

Just remember that. It's not about democracy or freedom or even religion or the economy. Conservatives want to be on top. They want an authoritarian leader to put everyone in their place. Do not argue with them about policy details. They value hierarchy more than anything.

I have a wifi enabled AC unit. It also has a remote control.

No, I have never used wifi to control it. Why would I? It has a remote control.
