I used KISS for a while and found mlauncher, which is similar in concept, to work better for me. I had to force KISS to restart frequently enough where it became a problem.

Again, not giving them a free pass. Just pointing out the terminology used is an overstatement.
I mean, I'm not exactly giving FF a pass here but rewarded is factually incorrect considering FF was paid to do the gig. The show wasn't some free pat on the back for the execs doing such a great job.

Depends on how much energy it takes. If it takes more resources than it frees, then I'd say it is not worth it.
How do you get AI to change its answer when one researcher discovers what was generally accepted as fact is no longer true?
My single ultrawide setup has treated me much better than the 2-3 monitor setup I used to have.
What are your metrics for "effective?" As someone who is both teaching and taking classes currently, I can tell you engagement is pitifully low in online formats. Education is not just about memorizing facts and going through the motions to get a good grade. There'd have to be some amazing innovation in online education practices to convince me it will be the default anytime soon.
