getting hacked in just 20 minutes due to a basic misconfiguration is alarming!

Making WSL open source could actually lead to some useful contributions and better transparency overall ; and good for Linux tools?

JuryNow is not open-source or self-hostable, and won’t be.

This is a personal project I’ve developed over many years (16), and I’m still shaping where it goes. I shared it here because it’s lightweight, browser-based, and real-time and not because it’s federated or designed for open deployment.

I fully respect the open/self-hosting ethos but this is NOT that, and I’d like to be upfront about it.

Hello Captain! Thanks so much for playing firstly ANd for coming back to give feedback! The jury will always be 12, no more, no less...but the idea is to have a cycle of reciprocity, whereby you are asking and voting in a seamless 3 minutes! Indeed, this is a brand new MVP and still ironing out some bugs (my tech ironing skills are a WIP!) and I know what you mean about the survey part...But when you get your verdict, did it reduce that 'survey' feeling? Did you feel it was worth it to get your own answer? (I hope so!!)

Hello there, Thanks so much for playing! Indeed, I see it as a game - my daughter insists it's not a game because you can't win and there is no competition! It's definitely fun getting your veredict - some mini dopamine hits there!

SKIP button is being worked on I promise! And thank you for playing Kraiden (and putting up with teenage drama!!) It's also great for the teenager to get a different persective...AND I must say, there will be questions you will want a couple of teenagers to vote on in your jury too! The best juries are the most diverse (in terms of age, culture, countries, professions etc)

It's going to really depend on the amount of traffic to make this possible but the idea is to get a totally diverse jury answering questions on anything...i.e. the opposite of somewhere like Reddit where you you pick your communities. So you have a true cross section of our world answering you and get a global perspective that is nothing like your peer group. For that to happen, one needs to answer all the questions as best as you can. And when it launches properly, it will be one free question a day which will also bring a different element...If there are 50,000 people playing at any given time (this is what i'm hoping for this year! i'm very hopeful and very optimistic!) then you will have far less "juryduty" time! But anyway, a HUGE thank you for playing and for your feedback! I'm keeping a note of every comment!!! It's gold!
