European Starlings were introduced in the US about 100 years ago by a misguided fool in Manhattan. They are invasive, but absolutely everywhere around the US at this point and that's definitely a European Starling fledgling.

You'd be better suited just having a user select that they are comfortable dating a trans individual because it will likely come up very early in the dating process anyway.

Forcing someone to identify as a gender that doesn't make them comfortable is just going to result in them not using your app and is frankly kind of a dick move overall. Your suggestion would just create an app that was suited for chasers, not trans users.

I get this completely. I'll never bring it up because it just sounds weird to someone who doesn't experience it themselves. I'll be forever chasing that feeling of being done taking a test in a classroom and hearing nothing but scratching pencils in an otherwise silent room.

It also doesn't help that a sizable portion of the ASMR content creators use it as an avenue to dress provacatively on camera or insert overtly sexual undertones to poorly done ASMR. I feel like these are the videos people think of though when you mention it.

The invention of glasses was a CIA psyop to get normal Americans to wear listening devices. Don't fall for their tricks.

It really does. The order that I noticed things in this was: Nipple Piercings>Baked Beans>Shirt Text and maybe I've been on Lemmy too much, but that just makes sense to me.

those other 2 weeks you can live semi-normal and thus have friends.

I don't think you're thinking about how hard this will absolutely fuck over your sleep. There is no way you can be a functional human being for those two weeks with this consistent and drastic of a schedule change.

They are not being informed that their actual email account is compromised. They are simply being told that their email address and an associated password was located in some csv file somewhere.

You use your email as an identifier/username by default for numerous services so without them specifying anything further this information isn't exceptionally meaningful. If you use the same password for your email provider as you do other services, then you've got bigger problems(Please don't do this)

on a large scale doesn't this mostly protect people from dangerous debts?

Not really. It just ends up with lenders offering far more predatory interest rates, which worsens the situation for the debtor. The system is set up in such a way that you can spiral pretty hard with a single misstep.

There's a difference between wanting to have good credit so that you can benefit from a garbage system and wanting that system to exist in the first place.

The UG tabs were great for motivation and mixing things up, but the basics will never change. Unfortunately a lot of learning any instrument is monotony and practice. You're going to have to work through that if you want to pick it up again. Without tabs to lean on I've just found it fun to noodle around with impromptu riffs and see what comes to me.

I was a bit lucky I guess because I worked myself a bit more solidly into the intermediate range and my fingers still remember all my chords. I just don't have the same finger stamina and my chord transitions are a lot sloppier. I'll just be happy when I can jump back into a nice fingerpicking flow again though.

I've been relearning to play guitar recently and running into crap like this too. Finding any quality tabs is insanely difficult nowadays.

A decade+ ago I could find anything I needed on UltimateGuitar and it was great. Short of ear-training, I haven't found anything that compares now.

Ahhh I had a bit of a, didn't read the article, moment and that was the missing context for me. I appreciate you clarifying!
