I was recently in college for IT, and my professors said a couple of times that it's best practice just to assume that all of your info has already been stolen

The university I went to told us not to bother with unpaid internships, because it's just a sign the company doesn't care about you. Paid internships pretty much always still give college credit.

As with most bleeding edge technology, all the danger comes from capitalism, and not the technology itself.

I hate crowd work. Getting called on while on a night out is my worst nightmare

hunger is "fundamental to the working of the world's economy"

I mean, he's probably right, but that means we should work to change the system, not throw more orphans into the crushing machine

That's one of my favorite traits in my partner. She's great at keeping the conversation going, which is important, because I'm terrible at it lol

When we get high together, there's usually about an hour period, that I call her Wikipedia time, where she finds a random topic, and has to talk about it at length

If they can, I'm going to buy a whole bunch of vibrators that charge via USB

It would be pretty funny if airplane manufacturers trademarked their con-trails, so each type of plain left a different trail behind

I would be surprised if this isn't already a thing

Companies still shouldn't steal fanart. If a fan makes something they like, they should work with the fan to make it official in a way that satisfies both parties. The community would love seeing that, and the company would get what they want for a reasonable price, and probably still cheaper than paying their own artists.

A comment lower in the thread says Bungie has reached out to this person, and are handling it well, which sounds great!

A lot of memes I across the Internet are about how everyone, no matter how old, is just a kid inside, trying to figure out what's going on, which is something I definitely identify with.

But every once in a while, something happens that does actually make me feel like a grown-up. It's usually small, and kind of silly, but it's fun, and I thought people might want to share theirs.

For me, most recently, it was realizing I like Greek yogurt now. It was trendy when I was like 12, and I couldn't stand it then, but I bought some on a whim, and now I keep the fridge stocked. That drastic change in my tastes took me aback momentarily, but I thought it was a nice fun little milestone.

How about you?
