Depending on where you are and where you're going, an airplane ride isn't that expensive. Just a matter of why you need to do so, and if you're willing to put up with budget airline issues. Oh and I guess the carbon footprint.

Yea, among other things, I'm not going through the process of migration just to prove a point. Too much work for uncertain returns, and on top of that I'll end up hating my phone. Why'd I do that?
There's Opencamera, but I only use it rarely. I usually stick to whatever the phone comes with.
Just to add for those who aren't willing to pay the ultimate plan, there's also couple and family plans. Duo at $14 a month is on the border of palatable for me, so I'm considering it now.

Camera hardware on this is better than the S7, actually, but the S7 has OIS, which I assume is where it's compensating. Phones are actually terrible image taking platforms form a stability point-of-view, so you're likely having camera shake issues.
Yea, I'll be curious on battery replacements too. No point if you can't get a new battery four years later.
