I run my NAS on TrueNAS, and it just has a built-in solution for taking ZFS snapshots, encrypting them, and shipping them to an S3-compatible storage.

However, for unraid, I think your easiest thing will be to use the rclone plugin

I use wasabi, it's an Amazon s3 compatible storage solution, $5/month/TB with no network or access fees

Tailscale is an overlay network, like a traditional VPN, but with very little config needed to get everything connected. You can use their managed lighthouse and management servers or run your own with Headscale.

Basically you just login to tailscale on all your devices and they get a LAN connection piped over the Internet without opening ports or needing to manage any infrastructure.

I definitely wish there was a good NLVE for Android that was FOSS. Currently using LumaFusion because it's the most powerful one I've found but it was $21 on sale
